You will need a volunteer to act as your patient for skills and scenarios. Here are a few scenario tips:

Verbalize, Verbalize, Verbalize

Verbalize each step of the patient assessment system and your thoughts as much as possible. This clearly shows the instructor that you do understand and are performing all areas of the patient assessment, making it easier for the instructor to evaluate your performance.

Train Like You Fight

You are expected to perform all skills and interventions unless told otherwise. Meaning, if you want to place your patient in a hypowrap, then you must physically do so. If you want to splint your patient, then you must actually splint.
