Wilderness Medical Training For SAR Responders

Every SAR responder should be prepared with at least basic wilderness first aid. Access to the online wilderness first aid lessons tailored to the SAR responder is included with your team subscription. To earn a full SAR WFA certification or SAR WFR recertification SAR members can enroll in a virtual hands-on training course via Zoom or host an in-person training. Sign up for Remote SAR WFA and Remote SAR WFR Recert on the WFA and WFR course pages.

Wilderness CPR for SAR Responders

Base Medical has partnered with the American Red Cross to deliver a CPR program that meets national standards while maintaining alignment with the Wilderness Medical Society’s guidelines. Wilderness CPR is available for our in-person courses and will soon be available remotely by January 2025.
