Remote Practical Training Supply List

The following supplies are needed to participate in the remote practical training. Please have all the supplies gathered and readily available before the start of the remote practical training. For more information about this supply list, please contact admin@base-medical.com.

Remote Wilderness First Aid and First Responder Recert Course Supplies

• 2 triangle bandages/cravats (homemade or purchased) 

• 1 pair trauma shears or scissors

• 1 set of steri-strips (or bandaids or tape) 

• 1 irrigation syringe

• 2 roller gauze or bandaging (homemade or purchased)

• 1  2” ace bandage

• 1 transparent dressing (optional)

• 1 cardboard or foam aluminum splint

• 1 red non-permanent marker

• 1 tarp or ground cover

• 1 sleeping bag/blanket

• 1 sleeping pad

• Pen and paper

• Watch or timing device. 

• Medical gloves

• Mask

• ​Water bottle 

• Printed notes or patient care forms from the Base Medical Course (optional)

• Computer with internet access, and built-in camera and microphone

• Friend/family member - available intermittently (or another student. A 50% coupon will be shared upon enrollment that you can share with a friend. They can earn their WFA or recert with you!)
